What a special weekend with Unity. My prayers are with Glenn and his family and it was an honour to just sit and be with him in his loss. And Derek and Allisin reconnecting at drumming is very special. Engagement? Well, celebration is a good word. Being part of a family group like Unity is what’s so important. The picnic was wonderful but I felt badly for all those families, little ones and volunteers who had to be out in the heat. We’ll misyou this Friday. Lots of family coming from the mainand. Take care and we’ll see you next week.

Hi there, I wanted to extend an invitation to the Drum Family to attend an Open House here at VNFC on July 30, 2010. My program is running a job re-entry program that includes carving a totem pole with Carey Newman, he will be in attendance on this day. It all starts at 1 PM at the rear of the Centre where the log is. Bring a friend, as we are also recruiting for the next intake in September. Any questions, my work number is 250 384 3211 – Jessie

Hello all,
Unless tomorrow morning brings a big change I won’t be singing on Sunday. Lost my voice this morning and it sounds really weird when I talk. I sound like a cross between Justin Beiber and Marge Simpson. will have to see what tomorrow brings but I probably shouldn’t be singing anyway.
